DESCRIPTION
Casa Petrini Imán is our icon wine. Coming from a soil with volcanic rocks with magnetic properties. A wine matured for 12 months in oak that expresses the purity of a naturally energetic Malbec.

Origin: Tupungato, Mendoza - Argentina
Harvest: mid April
Altitude: 1170 mts. above sea level
Driving: Espaldero
Irrigation: Drip irrigation
Soil: Of alluvial origin, sandy loam, loose, with the presence of embanque, loose gravel and volcanic rocks on the surface and in depth.
Winemaking: Manual harvest. Destemmed and vatted in small pots providing 25% of the whole bunch. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts at a temperature not higher than 25ºC.
Post-fermentation maceration with submerged cap for 25 days. Without malolactic fermentation and aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Aging: 12 months in French oak barrels.
Tasting notes: Purplish red in color. The nose presents aromas of violet flowers, wild herbs, cherries and graphite. On the palate it is fresh, frank, mineral, with fine tannins that are integrated with the presence of oak. A naturally vibrant Malbec.
Pairing: Cheese, red meat, white meat, pasta, etc.
