DESQUICIADO CABERNET FRANC

Desquiciado is a project by Gonzalo Tamagnini, with which he seeks to convey the madness generated by producing a bottle of wine. Together with Martín Sesto, with whom they met working for Alejandro Sejanovich and Jeff Mausbach, they agreed on ideas and the passion they feel for this world, and decided to spread this fanaticism with their own label. "Making wine" requires many steps, in which there is always an unexpected challenge. This awakens a desire for constant improvement, expectations, a desire to innovate and try different recipes. This search has taken them to a natural and wild state, to the point of being a deranged couple.

    DESCRIPTION

The grapes we use to make this wine come from Gualtallary - Tupungato, in the heart of the Uco Valley, harvested from young vineyards planted 8 years ago and with an average production between 70 to 90 quintals per hectare.

Shallow calcareous alluvial soils with a marked presence of silt.

This Desquiciado is made up of 90% Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot.

The production is done through a co-fermentation of all the varietals mentioned above, by traditional method. Once the fermentation process is finished, the wine is sent to 3rd and 4th use barrels, where it will rest for 9 months. 100% of the liquid passes through wood, since with this wine we seek to expose the power of the varietal from the area where it comes from.
