DOÑA SILVINA TORRONTÉS

Bodegas Krontiras is the fruit of the union of Constantino Krontiras, of Greek origin, and Silvina, his Argentine wife. Captivated by the great potential of Mendoza's viticulture, he decided to carry out this undertaking, making his idea of ​​making the highest quality wines a tribute to his wife come true. For the project, Constantino Krontiras brought together his friend and renowned Greek winemaker Panos Zouboulis, who has more than 25 years of experience in winemaking in the old world. “While in Greece we make wines with autochthonous strains that are ideal for each terroir, in Mendoza we have the optimal altitude and climate that, combined with the age of the vineyards, allows us to achieve the best expression of the Malbec strain,” says Panos Zouboulis. Under the philosophy of environmental balance and efficient use of local ecosystem resources and available nutrients, the organic treatment of the vineyards for biodynamic production was started.

Tasting notes: Refreshing and aromatic. Notes of citrus and tropical fruits such as lime, mandarin and pineapple combined with delicate flowers of fruit trees and honeysuckle. It is fresh and fruity on the palate. Ideal to pair with spicy food such as pad thai.
