DESCRIPTION
Casa Petrini Roca Volcánica was born from a unique terroir in Argentina. A natural space with a soil made up of basalt rocks. A Malbec that through its purity tells us where it comes from.
Variety: 100% Malbec
Origin: Tupungato, Mendoza - Argentina
Harvest: end of March
Altitude: 1175 mts. above sea level
Driving: Espaldero
Irrigation: Drip irrigation
Soil: Of alluvial origin, sandy loam, loose, with the presence of embanque, loose gravel and volcanic rocks on the surface and in depth.
Winemaking: Manual harvest. Pre-fermentation maceration 8ºC. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts at a temperature not higher than 25ºC with 25% whole bunch. Pissage and post-fermentation maceration for 25 days. No malolactic.
Aging: It does not go through barrels.
Tasting notes: Purplish red in color. On the nose it has aromas of herbs, purple flowers, berries, something citrus and mineral notes. On the palate it is subtle and pure, with soft tannins and a persistent finish. A Malbec with its own identity.
Pairing: Cheeses, red and white meats, pasta
