Viña Cobos makes wines that naturally express the terroir from which they come. Paul Hobbs, founding partner and winemaker of Viña Cobos, has been working since 1988 in the exploration of the different terroirs of Mendoza, looking for the most outstanding regions within Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco, for the elaboration of unique wines.

A sustainable management of the vineyard allows to achieve balanced harvests and high quality fruit, from there a careful treatment of the grapes and a meticulous production process, gives rise to complex and elegant wines, of great subtlety and balance. Since the first harvest of Cobos Malbec in 1999, Viña Cobos has marked a milestone in viticulture, challenging the limits of quality to place Argentina next to the great producers of the world. Currently its prestige is recognized by both critics and consumers around the world.

    DESCRIPTION

TASTING NOTES: The typical character of Cabernet Sauvignon can be seen in its red color with violet tones. We find a delicious nose with the presence of red fruit, cassis and cherry, which is complemented by chocolate, pepper, herbs and subtle earthy notes. It is a robust wine with great personality. It has a sweet entry, marked tannins, black fruit and spices. It is unctuous in the mouth; a complex and elegant wine with a long finish.

ORIGIN: Vineyards of Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza.
