BRAMARE MALBEC, LUJÁN DE CUYO
Viña Cobos makes wines that naturally express the terroir from which they come. Paul Hobbs, founding partner and winemaker of Viña Cobos, has been working since 1988 in the exploration of the different terroirs of Mendoza, looking for the most outstanding regions within Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco, for the elaboration of unique wines.
A sustainable management of the vineyard allows to achieve balanced harvests and high quality fruit, from there a careful treatment of the grapes and a meticulous production process, gives rise to complex and elegant wines, of great subtlety and balance. Since the first harvest of Cobos Malbec in 1999, Viña Cobos has marked a milestone in viticulture, challenging the limits of quality to place Argentina next to the great producers of the world. Currently its prestige is recognized by both critics and consumers around the world.
TASTING NOTES: It seduces with its purplish red color, very deep. On the nose it has a great presence of red fruits with acid notes, cassis, strawberry; slowly it shows notes of caramel, spices, white pepper, chocolate and graphite, together with delicate notes of menthol and rosemary. It has a remarkable breadth in the mouth, it is an enveloping wine, with sweet, elegant and firm tannins. It has a very long finish and great persistence.
