    Climate: A dry and warm winter, some spring frosts that lowered the yield of 30%. The foloration was not ideal, with some "coulure". The summer was cool and humid, the second part was hot. The fall was long and warm.

    Soil: Fluvial, old river bed, sandy gravel, limestone. The water is only 1.8 meters deep.

    Vineyards: vineyards with an average age of 40 years, with conventional management, they are vineyards that we have on lease no more than 15 km from the winery and all from the mainque area, in this way we can support local winegrowers and save the viticultural heritage local, and prevent these old vineyards from being sold for real estate reasons.

    Irrigation: Irrigation by mantle (typical in the area) Excellent water quality.

    Elaboration: The grapes were harvested from early March to early April. It was harvested by hand in boxes of 15 kilos so as not to crush the bunches during transport to the winery. Then the grapes were completely destemmed. We use controlled yeasts, minimize extraction and press early to preserve the silky texture of the tannins.

    Maturation: 20% in French oak barrels and 80% in stainless steel tanks for 9 months. Then it was filtered and bottled in January 2019 all in one batch

    Temperature and pairing: 14 to 16 ° C, recommended with lamb, beef and fish.
