Bodega & Cavas de Weinert was founded in 1975 in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza by the Brazilian of German origin Don Bernardo Weinert, who, fascinated by the world of wines, decided to set up his own winery in Argentina with an unconditional philosophy: to produce wines of high quality. quality. Tasting Notes: The Tonel 183 comes from a small batch of Cabernet Franc from the Barrancas area. The batch is so small that only enough was made for a 2,500-liter oval barrel, ideal for shorter aging periods and that enhance the natural sweetness of this super limited edition wine. It reflects the personality given by our large French oak barrels that rest in the underground cellars. Coming from batches of a single barrel, they are limited editions that seek to play with the character that each barrel confers on our wines.
